The 2010 East Kent Classic Vehicle run is planning a run out round several good causes who have recently benefited from Masonic charitable funds.

It is expected that on the morning of June 5th, a group of different classic vehicles ranging from cars to bikes and possibly even military and vintage motors will meet at different hospices and other good causes centres. By Masonic enthusiasts making their time and vehicles available, it could be an opportunity to allow the cared for and their families as well as the carers a chance to enjoy a break from the treatments and possibly have photos taken in our cars.

After 2 or so visits each group will then make their way to the garden party where will have reserved the prime parking area to display our cherished vehicles, and enjoy the rest of the day.

We are looking for more classics to join our band of traveling masons (families & friends) if you know of someone who has a pride and joy and would love to join our groups outing, please give them the details of this site and ask them to contact myself on 07973 229229 or by email.

A requirement for taking part in the run will be that all entrants are expected to raise some money for the good causes we support. This is to be done by downloading the sponsorship forms available on this site. One of the good things about classic cars and other vehicles is the amount of interest people have in them, and this is a good way to talk about the Masonic and other charities we help. Demelza Pilgrims Gurkas Sea Cadets etc and I personally have no trouble in asking my non Masonic friends for sponsorship for our collections and maybe you will feel happy to go outside of the 'normal' lodge membership.
